So it seems as though 3 is worse than 2!! Ms.Peyton has a fresh mouth and MAJOR attitude. The word NO flows very freely from her mouth. And let's not forget the non sharing! I'm at my wits end here and need some advice.

I have tried time out in the corner, time out in her bed and taking the toys away all together. None of that does a darn thing. I put my foot down tons during the day and yes,my child gets the occasional swat on the rear! {please don't judge}.

I guess it's like the old saying goes " The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" Apparently I *may* ahem have been like my little diva when I was a child.

so Mommy's out here in blogging land, please send some advice my way.
And if you are going to leave a comment on the fact that I yes, swat my child on her rear, please save yourself the energy because I will delete it.

I agree -- 3 was far worse than two for both of my kiddos. Not sure I have any magic advice -- just hang in there, be consistent with discipline, and know that it DOES get better.

Found you on Say Hi Sunday Blog hop and am now following you. Are you sure my child isn't visiting you? He is actually 7 now, but oh my the 3's were far worse than the 2's in our house also. Can we say STRONG WILLED Child? People who don't actually have a strong-willed child think that stubborn, semi-noncompliant children fit this category. Truth is, strong-willed equals I will do anything to get my way, including receiving negative consequences (i.e. spankings, etc.) just to get my way and prove my point. Oh, they are so trying on our momma's hearts! James Dobsons strong-willed child books are great as is Reb Bradley's To Train up a Child. I recommend both. There are plenty more out there that are great also, those are just the two that really helped me. And, YES, consistency and patience are the key. This too shall pass. Praying for you! Stop by some time,
