Motorola Wireless Video Baby Moitor MBP33 { REVIEW }

Pregnant? Have Toddlers? Need an awesome shower gift?

Look no further than Motorola Wireless Video Baby Monitor!

We were sent the MBP33 model to review,which couldn't have come at a better time because our current video monitor was pure CRAP!

Here are some specs about the Motorola Wireless Video Baby Monitor MBP33:

* 2.4 GHz fhss wireless technology

* 2.8" color LCD screen and up to 25 fps

* Five polyphonic lullabies, additional camera capability and five LED alerts for noise level

* 200 meter range with "out-of-range" warning

* Two way communication

* Data Encryption for security

* High sensitivity microphone

* Rechargeable battery (Parent Unit)

* Remote zoom feature

As soon as this arrived quite conveniently it was nap time. We decided to put it in Olivia's room since she is still in a crib. { My only complaint on this model is that it doesn't tilt,pan or zoom from the parent device. Model MBP36 does though}

The box contains:

* Parent unit with 2.8" Diagonal Color Screen

* Baby Unit { Audio/Video }

* User's Guide

* Quick Start Guide

* Rechargeable Battery Pack for the Parent's Unit

* Power Adapter for Parent Unit

* Power Adapter for Baby Unit

Set up was super easy. Just plug in the Baby Unit and adjust the camera to where baby is.

Plug in Parent Unit { if not charged } and turn on!
Really,that's it.

Although the picture doesn't look very clear in the photo, I can assure you that this picture is by far the best I have seen on a baby video monitor. Crystal Clear,even Hubs was amazed! {it takes alot to amaze that man!}

Shown is also the guide. You can choose which lullaby,volume,time etc.
Olivia is not a fan of the lullaby's! She yells to turn it off.

My favorite feature is that we can communicate with Olivia without having to go into her room. A simple press of a button and we can ask her whats wrong, or quite often tell her to lay down!
Hubs had some fun with that option the other night. It's quite amusing to watch Olivia look around and wonder where we are talking to her. { so, we like to mess with our kids! }

Prime example of when we use the intercom feature! Someone is supposed to be laying down taking a nap! { take note of the temp in Olivia's room, a nice 67degrees }

This is the Baby Unit. It can tilt up down and side to side but manually.

Obviously, this is the Parent Unit. It does have a bunch of buttons but they are super easy to use and control.

PROS:
* Affordable price
* Crystal Clear Picture
                                                               * Two Way communication
                                                              * Temperature monitor
                                                             * 200M range with “out-of-range” warning { no more out of range signals while downstairs like our previous monitor}
* 2.8” color LCD screen
* Infrared night vision
* Five Polyphonic lullabies
* Five LED alerts for noise level
* Rechargeable battery {Parent Unit}

CONS:
    * The only con that I have is that this model {MBP33} doesn't have a zoom,pan,tilt,feature from the parent unit.
Model MBP36 does though

Would I recommend this monitor?

OH YES! The picture quality, ability to communicate with my child without entering the room {because we all know what happens when we do that},brightness control and the lullaby's are awesome.

The Price:

   AFFORDABLE

Motorola Wireless Video Baby Monitor model MBP33 retails for around $199.99 and is worth every penny!

Looks like an awesome camera/baby monitor! I wish they had fancy dancy monitors like this when my kiddos were babies.
