  • 32-in. flat screen TVs

  • coffee maker
  • hair dryer
  • iron & ironing board
  • cribs (free) or cots ($10/night) if needed

Here's what we found upon arrival:

Chocolate Chip cookies that looked amazing. Unfortunately due to Olivia's nut allergy we couldn't accept.
Our room was spotless and the crib I requested for Olivia was already in the room!

The inside of the hotel was simply beautiful but of course I didn't snag one photo since I always had my hands full when I was in the lobby.

Inside the hotel is a cute little "snack bar" that is open all night. This really came in handy since this mom forgot to stop and get the girls milk for before bed. It's not a huge store but has the basics: milk, soda, water, juice, magazines and snacks!

Prices were VERY reasonable also.

Here's our beautiful room

Olivia is all set for the pool!!

2 queen size, SUPER comfy beds!

Crib

the tv that stayed on one channel, Nick JR!
The beds were so comfy Peyton never wanted to get up, until it was time to sleep!! ha

The bathroom area was very fresh and updated. A very nice size closet which we only used to hang up or bathingsuits and a COFFEE POT!!

The bathroom was WAY better than ours at home!! I wanted to take it with me :)

The Double Tree Resort has a great pool area for families or even single folks.

As soon as we dropped our luggage the kids were begging to head to the pool. The Double Tree Resort has a really cute indoor water playground for the kids.

It is PERFECT for all ages.

indoor water slide, Branden spent most of his time going down the slide

The kids had a cute little slide as well!

Branden was a BIG help to Olivia who conquered her fear of the water!

There also is an indoor pool and we did visit that as well, since it's pretty much connected to the kids area. I did not get pictures of that either but it was really nice and decorated with sea life on the walls.
The kids liked that. They pretended that the whales were swimming with them!

My only thing is that there is NO continental breakfast, You have to order room service or head out. This may be a problem for some parents who don't want to pay $12 for a few pancakes. To solve this problem I simply allowed the kids to eat cookies for breakfast before we checked out of our hotel and headed out for the day!

Rooms are available from around $159 which I think is VERY reasonable for the quality of the hotel!

We were VERY impressed with the hospitality of the staff at The Double Tree Resort in Lancaster. So friendly and helpful.

I can't wait to plan another trip and we will DEFINETLY be staying at a Double Tree Resort!
