Cybex Ruby Review #BabyMustHaves

Starting today I will be featuring all types of baby must haves!

Today's feature is Cybex. Specifically the Cybex Ruby stroller.

Party of 5 was sent the Ruby to review.

Before I go into all of the awesome details of the Cybex Ruby I want to tell you a bit about the company

In the beginning was the idea. Company founder Martin Pos, father of two, wanted to create products for babies and children that parents would love and really enjoy using. He wanted them to be different and so moved away from conventional, naïve baby designs.

Right from the start, the S.D.F. innovation principle was at the centre of every product development. Over-average Safety and quality and unmistakable Design join forces with intelligent Functionality. Drawing on the expertise of leading European engineers as well as international designers and lifestyle strategists, CYBEX has grown into a synonym for modern, innovative babies and children’s products.

Prior to their market launch all our products undergo a very natural kind of test. We like to call it the practical staff test. CYBEX employs many parents – and we all know that parents can be hard to please, making them very discerning critics. Their experience and suggested improvements help guarantee the highest quality. As a result, the commitment and involvement of the company’s staff is a big part of what CYBEX is today.

Now, let's talk about all of the wonderful features if the Cybex Ruby stroller

* Lightweight. And honestly it truly is. My 4 year old can carry it :)

* Can be used from 6months and up with a weight limit of 55lbs! That's a big difference in some of the other lightweight strollers out there

* A Super Canopy. This is the Cadillac of canopies as far as I am concerned. It is height adjustable and individually extend able. Not to mention it offers UV 50+ protection!

* 5pt non padded harness. The bonus is that my kids CAN'T undo it!!

* 3 different harness heights

* Carrying strap for when the stroller is folded up.

* One Touch Braking: the right and left brakes are linked together and will both lock and unlock at the same time.

* Front Wheel Swivel Lock: Easy to lock wheels will stay in place when locked

* Reclining Backrest: this is just a slight recline but perfect for older kids

* The Cybex Ruby can be turned into a TRAVEL SYSTEM!! You will need to purchase the Cybex Infant Seat Adapter. The Cybex Ruby is compatible with a number of infant seats such as Britax, Chicco, Graco and Maxi Cosi to name a few.

* The storage basket is not very large but you can fit TONS of stuff in it. It is easily accessible as well.

* My favorite feature: MACHINE WASHABLE!!! This is a huge plus for me since my girls are somewhat slobs :)

The Cybex Ruby comes in 5 colors:
Coffee { which we were sent }, Eclipse, Lipstick, Lagoon and Purple Potion.

Putting the Cybex Ruby together was a breeze!
I simply attached the wheels, handles, and the canopy and I was done. It seriously took me all of 10 minutes!

The Cybex Ruby has been our go to stroller for quick in and out trips such as a visit to the Dr.'s office with the 3 kids. Olivia still needs to be confined to a stroller and our Dr.'s office exam rooms are fairly small. The Cybex Ruby fits perfectly in the tiny rooms and is a breeze to push one handed with my 30lb toddler in it.

There are accessories you can purchase separately:
Cup holder
Rain cover
Infant Seat Adaptors

You can purchase the Cybex Ruby for $149.95 on Amazon.com
