Stokke Tripp Trapp® Review & Giveaway #HolidayGiftGuide@StokkeBaby

As a Mom of 3 kids I have been through my fair share of highchairs and quite honestly I wasn't too crazy about any of them. They were bulky, a pain to clean and my kids could easily undo the buckles.

This often proved the most challenging with my girls. They continued to aggravate me during dinner by undoing the buckle and running around. I often found myself longing for a highchair that they couldn't get out of and one that didn't take up my entire kitchen.

Thankfully I found Stokke ! The Tripp Trapp highchair is a beautiful addition to any kitchen or dining room and comes in many different colors.

The Tripp Trapp® chair, created in 1972 by thedesigner Peter Opsvik, has never been bettered. In 1972, revolution was a fact. Back then no one had seen anything like the Tripp Trapp®, and almost 40 years later it is still unique: the only child’s chair that can take you from baby to adult, keeping you secure and comfortable all the way.
The Tripp Trapp® designer’s inspiration came from watching his own young son, Tor, struggle to find a comfortable position to sit in at their family table. Having grown out of his old-fashioned high-chair, but still far too small to sit on an adult’s chair, Tor was left dangling his legs and struggling to reach the table.

Party of 5 was sent the Stokke Tripp Trapp in Cherry to review with Peyton and Olivia.

Hubs assembled the chairs very quickly and he was really impressed with the quality of the Tripp Trapps!

The Tripp Trapp chair is made to grow with your child. From 6 months to adult you can count on the Stokke Tripp Trapp to last a lifetime.

Tripp Trapp is adjustable! It has a unique depth and adjustable seat and footplate. I love the fact that I can adjust the foot rest for each girl as they grown and it is super easy as well.

The seat is also adjustable as well. This is wonderful for when your kids get older and no longer need the footplate.

Height and depth adjustable seat and foot plate:
  • Grows with the child.
  • Lifts the floor up to the child - gives stability and ability to move.
  • Chair adapts to the child’s body instead of vice versa.
  • Elevates the child up to the correct height at the table.
  • Child is part of dining experience.
  • Promotes parent - child bonding.
  • Child is sitting ergonomically correct.
  • Longevity of product.
Manufactured from cultivated beech
  • Strong, solid and durable.
  • Environmentally friendly/safety.
  • Longevity of product.
No fixed tray
  • Comes closer to the table.
  • Develops hand/eye co-ordination.
  • Socialising.
  • Easy for the child to move.
7-year warranty on wooden components
  • Registration at entitles the owner to a 7-year Extended Warranty.
  • Good investment.
  • Security.
  • Good value for money.
This is my 4 year old in her Tripp Trapp! The pout on her face is becasue she CANNOT undo the 5 pt harness!!

There are 13 wonderful colors to choose from. We have gotten so many compliments on the Tripp Trapp chairs. My favorite thing is not only that they grow with my kids but the fact that I have my kitchen back. No more big bulky highchairs clogging up the small space. The Tripp Trapp fits nicely under my table when pushed in.

I can attest that sitting on the Tripp Trapp is comfy as I tested them out as well.
Oh and clean up? It's a breeze, simply wipe off with a damp cloth! There really aren't many nooks and crannies for food to get stuck in which is a HUGE plus for me!

Here is a video of the Tripp Trapp concept:

Party of 5 is so glad that they found Stokke Tripp Trapp. It is the perfect addition for any family table!
