The 2nd Annual Brooklyn Baby Expo, presented by A Child Grows in Brooklyn
Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 10 am – 4 pm

(Brooklyn, NY) – For the second year, A Child Grows in Brooklyn will host the Brooklyn Baby Expo. Held on Sunday, June 2, from 10am to 4pm, this event will showcase top resources for new and expectant parents and provide a space where they can interact with other parents, exhibitors and experts. The Expo will take place at the International School of Brooklyn, (477 Court Street) and will include a full day of mini-workshops, demonstrations, and informative seminars.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their partner, friend or whole family and enjoy lunch in our Fairway Café, play in our movement room, and get comfortable in our nursing lounge. Parents and parents-to-be can learn about and shop for everything from gear, clothing and furniture, to child care services and organic baby food. Hands-on activities include testing baby carriers and strollers, participating in class demos, and learning how to make baby food and install a car seat. Parents can attend full-length seminars about preparing for birth and post-natal care, navigating the new-parent world in Brooklyn, raising a good sleeper, best baby gear, learning how to take photos of their children without ‘missing the moment’, and more.
