#ad Shopping at WalMart for I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® #CookwithSpreads

When I think about shopping for some staples in our house I normally head to our local WalMart. This is where I find the best prices on staples in our house such as toilet paper, paper towels, spreads, snack and clothes!

I normally carry my coupon book with me in my purse and this comes in handy when shopping at WalMart since they take coupons. I like to save some money here and there, almost as much as I like to spend it :)

WalMart always has a variety of brands and items that I use on a regular basis at great prices. 

I recently headed to WalMart in search of a few items I needed in the house. Since I have an issue with salt and swelling while pregnant I am trying to steer clear of butter and use spreads in its place. 

I picked up some I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® at WalMart to use in a few recipes that I am going to attempt to make lower in sodium. As you can see I also need to get rid of my greys!! My WalMart carries both the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® sticks and spread but I chose to go with the spread. I just like it better. 

And Fabric Softener was on sale :)

I am going to try some new recipes with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® this weekend. I will be attempting to make chocolate chip cookies and a dinner dish with the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® spread.

For my dinner dish I will be sticking to one of our favorites : Chicken Quesadillas stuffed with black beans,rice  and salsa. Instead of loading the pan with butter I will be using my spread. I'm hoping my Hubs doesn't realize that I switched out his fattening butter for I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!®. There is 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter. It also contains NO cholesterol of hydrogenated oils so there is 0 trans fat per serving. With heart disease running heavily in my family I want to get back on track eating healthy.
