There's a new kind of pizza in town!! #KonoForFoodies @KonoPizzaUSA



Three entrepreneurs, who have built previous successes in the U.S. fitness, food and technology industries, stumbled across a concept that had already revolutionized the European market – pizza cones. Inspired and created by Italian culinary genius, Rossano Boscolo, Kono Pizza, which has over 130 locations worldwide, sets aside the traditional triangle or square cut slice and offers consumers an ‘out-of-the-box’ pizza experience – literally. Shocked that the concept had not yet been introduced in the states, the entrepreneurial team have catapulted Kono Pizza into the U.S. marketplace with sights set on changing the pizza game. The brand now has one location open in Edison, NJ and several more shops in the development pipeline slated to open in January 2014.

Yesterday, there was an event for Bloggers to attend. They were among the first to taste The Pizza Cone, an international craze that was just brought to America!! A Pizza cone filled with fresh Italian ingredients.

During the event attendees has the chance to create their own Kono breakfast cone. One lucky food writer or blogger's breakfast cone will be featured on Kono's menu for all of National Hot Breakfast Month in February 2014!!

Unfortunately we had to miss the event due to this lovely Polar Vortex and some snow we got. But we were invited to take a visit so make sure you keep following along to see our review of Kono Pizza.
Right now the ONLY location in NJ in in Edison.
