Desaki Review @desaki #FAMTOUR #PoconoMountainsPA

While on a mini-vacation in the Poconos we were invited to Desaki Hibachi Restaurant

What a wonderful meal we had!  From the food to the entertainment, it was all wonderful. I especially loved the look and feel of the restaurant.

Desaki is family friendly and in fact our waitress encouraged the kids to have fun and not to worry about being too loud.

After we were seated our waitress brought us each over a bowl of edamame.. My son is a picky eater but he did try the edamame. ed

 Kim's kids apparently love edamame!

The food is very  kid friendly as well. My oh so very picky eater was intrigued by the awesome fire show. I think it made him want to try the food. Try he did.

He didn't love all of the food, but didn't hate it either! Huge accomplishment trust me. Our cook David was so funny and entertaining. Not only did he sing but he amazed us all with his knife and spatula skills. The fire show was so cool to watch right in front of you. The kids loved it!

As for my take on the food, out of this world! I tried sushi for the first time. I had a soft shell stone crab roll for an appetizer. Surprisingly I liked it. The amount of options are great. For my main course I ordered fillet minion and terriyaki chicken hibachi. The meal came with soup, noodles, rice, vegetables, and the steak and chicken. One thing tasted better than the next. Not to mention I too enjoyed the show!

The prices are a little on the high side , but when you take into account the amount of food, and the show you get included, well well worth it.

I wish there was a Desaki closer to my house because I would go there every week!
