Amazon Prime Instant Video: Creative Galaxy #CreativeGalaxy #AmazonKids @Amazon_Studios

My kids have a tendency lately to be glued to the TV as much as I hate to admit that. I fractured my ankle and have been out of commission so we've been doing tons of movie watching. We were given the opportunity to check out Amazon Primes new series Creative Galaxy. I figured if the girls were going to watch TV shows at least they could watch something educational!

Creative Galaxy  is an interactive program that asks children questions as the show goes along helping keep children engaged in the show. Both of my girls really stayed tuned in and had lots of fun pointing out shapes and colors with the main character Arty.

At the end of each animated episode a live action piece plays showing parents and caregivers the real life tools you need to re create Arty's experience that was shown.

I thought that Creative Galaxy was a bit on the younger side for my 6 year old but perfect for my almost 5 year old. My 5 year old seemed to stay focused and interact much longer than my 6 year old. If you are looking for a fun interactive show for your preschooler than I do suggest Creative Galaxy

The series helps make children and adults aware that people literally find themselves immersed in art most of the time: Parks use sculptures to add interest and to inform people; posters on walls give information and motivation; the clothes we wear are designed; music plays on the radio to keep your energy levels up; dance has meaning and tells stories. Whether we think of our world as art or not – it is!

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
